Great to see that this motel is getting another lease on life, sadly there is a bit to do. Almost a working bee job for the Scouts ???nThe room was adequate, but dated - no USB ports.nThe TV didn't want to connect to the Wi-fi.nThe real star was the bed, quite firm but what a nights sleepnThe next star was the hostnSo good luck team with the revival
I had to run over here last minute when the internet at the hotel I was staying in up the road was not working and I had a job interview that had to happen right away. The woman at the front desk was incredible and let me test out the internet first. She was so caring and gave me as good a price as she could on the room. The rooms themselves are big and comfortable, if a little worn down. If I get this job, it will be thanks to Masterson Motor Lodge!!
Lovely host, we didn't see much of them as late arrival and early departure. Rooms were clean well looked after, warm and inviting.
Very clean and tidy,it’s abit tired looking, but we had a lovely room and the place all to ourselves. The host a lovely cheerful person.Yes we would stay there again.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and considering the price is lower than most in the region it's reasonable value.nThe bathroom seems to have been updated in the last couple of years as has the carpet. There are no kitchen facilities, and no milk supplied but this is quite clearly stated. The room was clean and tidy though the gardens look neglected - consider it 'meadow-style' surroundings. :nThe standout feature was the owner/manager Eric Lai who was kind and friendly to deal with at all times.
