Attended a family reunion here. The location worked well for this purpose and had an inexpensive price point.nnWith that inexpensive price point you get to stay in a converted hospital with room painted the color of an insane asylum. The stainless steel counter and sink in the room really adds to the creepiness factor.nnThe bed was comfortable and did the job for the one night I was there. The eating area worked well for the family and the conference room did well for the presentation portion of the event.
I stayed here as part of a large group that came for a suprise birthday party that was being held locally, and it was great fun to stay there! The beds were comfortable, it was nice and warm, and the 'wet room' showers were great! It had a roomy kitchen and lounge room where all of us met up and shared food. I enjoyed it and can recommend it particularly for groups!
We had our wedding there in june. What a place!! We did the top package deal, it was fantastic. The dining room was everything and more that we wanted. So beautiful! The owners are wonderful so very helpful. They made everything so easy. We can't talk highly enough of them. The accommodation was great as well. I would totally recommend this place for weddings.
I stayed here for a wedding last year. Great location. Grounds weren't up to standard, family had do a bit of a tidy up before guests arrived, outside buildings were filthy cobwebs at entrances and windows, kids didn't want to sleep on top bunks because of cobwebs on ceilings.nGreat facilities though, we made it work for our families. You certainly get what you pay for which is probably why price is reasonable. Owners were very helpful though throughout our stay but i only give 2 stars mainly because what we got is certainly not what others had going by the raving reviews. Just keeping it real!!
All facilities; both personal bed showering and lounging very quiet and peaceful. All public areas catered so well for our large group of 84 youth and 22 leaders.nBlessed to also have fine weather to compliment easy access to sports facilities and Church within walking distance, including swimming pool. Thanks be to Masters Hall, Pahiatua.
