Masterbowl Castle Hire

We visited on a day that allowed us all in at children rates. The person on the front desk was helpful and friendly. Other staff were less so. They were not easily identified and reluctant to make eye contact in case we asked them for help. The lane we were first put on was faulty - it wasn’t resetting the pins and then the bowls got stuck in the return, and we spent a lot of time waiting to get it fixed until we asked to be moved lanes. The new lane had no issue but seating was broken and limited. But we didn’t spend a lot of money, it was busy and once we switched lanes we had a good time. We didn’t eat there and we didn’t play the arcade games so can’t comment on them. I would go back as it was enjoyable and $50 for a family was an ok amount to spend.

Every single time there is an issue with the lanes... staff are not very helpful and the young boy with glasses swore in front of my young kids when he made a mistake causing them concern. He just sits on his phone ignoring any problems and gets angry if he has to do his job!

Great service from team I don’t understand what the other reviewers are talking about - quite frankly think they need to pull carrot out of arse…was a classic kiwi service and team very chilled out, definitely coming again! cheers!

went bowling today and I don't think I'll ever go back..two new staff members were there and the service from them both was disgusting! when asking for our lanes all we get was grunts from the person serving us. as we were bowling I noticed that one of thoose new staff members was walking around the bowling alley with a vape in his hand so if your a parent I hope you know that this worker walks around with the vape around children when you take your kids there. I wasn't very happy to see that these 2 staff members had the worst attitudes when serving and would constantly on their phone If im going to be honest I was nervous to approach the counter again

Great way to pass time even my young boys enjoyed it 5yrs and 3.5yrs

Went here with my colleagues for an end of year bit of fun. We all had a great time. The bowling alleys are getting a bit old and one of our lanes kept having issues - the staff happily rectified these each time and then moved us to another lane after a bit. It's great that you can wear your own sneakers too, or if hiring the shoes you can buy little socks for $3.

My family paid $50 & what a waste of money that was!! Lane 7 repeatedly jammed from turn 4 until 10. This meant my grandsons lost interest pretty early in the game & the arcade is outdated. The guy on the desk was polite & did his best under the circumstances. This place needs money spent on it to make it an enjoyable family experience. Would not recommend & will not be back.

I been there twice and the service is ok but he food is gross the bumber cars are the best part though they are so fun and the arcade games are the best for birthday partys. So you should defineatly go!!

Went with my grandson at 8.40pm 26th March 2022....turned away... Conversation went... Nah nah mate we're closed just waiting for these guys to finish and I'm outta here... Your website says you close at 9.30?? Nah nah mate yer can't believe everything you read on the net....... But its your website... Nah nah mate we're closed... It says so on the door.... Feel sorry for the owner paying that guy to 'look after' his business
