Palmy People is one of Massey University's initiative to build a more cohesive and connected off-campus environment.The objective is to create a strong sense of belonging to the university, and also provide opportunities for students (and staff) to build relationships and engage in community development initiatives.
Some of the services offered includes accommodation assistance-dealing with tenancy issues, assistance in finding off-campus options etc. We work closely with external stakeholders such as Fire Service, Police, PN City Council, Neighbourhood Support, Work & Income, Real Estates etc. to increase trust and awareness within our community.
