I am a trained wedding and funeral celebrant

Story
I am a local Rangitikei celebrant who has lived in Marton since June 2005, having moved from England with my Husband Alan.

During 2015, I attended the Celebrant School for Celebrants which is located in Auckland. I am so glad that I attended this course.

I have 3 children, Sam, Sophie and Thomas who like to keep me on my toes.

I also volunteered at our local scout group until it closed in 2021. I used to be their Committee Member, Treasurer, Kea Leader, Assistant Group Leader. In 2021 I started volunteering at Feilding Scout Group as their Kea Leader and Assistant Group Leader.

As my husband is a self employed electrician, I help him with his business too.

A huge thank you to you, Dawn, for being the celebrant at Emma and my wedding in August-22. We found your support and advice incredibly helpful as we navigated the marriage journey. You took the time to get to know our journey, were easy to talk to and plan alongside with, and the words you spoke during the ceremony were spot on. Emma and I both highly recommend Dawn's services for anyone else looking for a celebrant.
Dawn was absolutely wonderful as our wedding celebrant in September. She met with us before the day to get to know us and find out our special requirements and just how we wanted the ceremony to go. She provided some lovely additional ideas which we hadn't considered, such as including family and friends that are far away, or gone before, by the lighting of a candle, and including my engagement ring as a part of the ceremony. On the day she was professional but friendly, she kept us calm and our guests in order but still relaxed. The ceremony was perfect. We would thoroughly recommend Dawn to anyone needing a celebrant, she's a gem.
Dawn was such an amazing celebrant!! She was sooo helpful for us, she catered to us, attentive to us and our day and was chill as. If we were unclear on anything she was always there. Even when I the bride had semi cold feet Dawn was there. She even walked all the way up from the alter up the lil hill to the manor where I was to see if I was okay as I was a tad late.....so if your looking someone that's attentive as Dawn's your lady!!
Dawn was absolutely wonderful from the moment we met her going over exactly what we wanted on our day, a nice short ceremony as neither of us a big fans of speaking in front of people. She had a lovely set speech for this with any changes easily made to your liking. Thank you so much for making our day special Dawn!
