Established in 2010, MARRICK STALLIONS is a small sporthorse stud set on 21 acres and providing a range of equine services.

Story

MARRICK STALLIONS was established by Lesley Martin & Grant Warbrick in 2010 and is set on 21 flat acres just out of Ashhurst Village in the Manawatu. We currently stand two stallions at stud, MARRICK'S ZANZIDINI ARROW and MARRICK'S KS SNEAK PREVIEW, provide foaling services and emergency short-term grazing for horses. Grant is an electrician, enthusiastic horse-husband and enjoys the challenge of developing MARRICK PARK into a dedicated equine property. Lesley began riding aged 8 owning a number of horses between travel, career and raising 2 sons, recommiting to horses fulltime in 2009.Previously a registered nurse specialising in critical care areas for many years and having graduated with a BA (Psych) at Massey in 2012, Lesley is now studying the equine component of a BachAgSci (Eq), also at Massey. She also has a strong interest in photography, particularly equine photography (see MARRICK iMAGES FB page) and both Lesley & Grant are committed to expanding MARRICK PARK and its equine services over time.
