My brother got married here. The place isn't too far out and the grounds are amazing. There is a wide range of different sceneries within the one area which was really nice. I particularly like the pond with the boat.nPlent of parking for guests and they also provided wifi since the reception there is a bit hit and miss.nThe wedding went fairly smoothly and the food was nice. I did find most of their meats undercooked but that is my preference. There was a really nice range of desserts and the creme brulee was really nice.
We got married here in November 2023. We viewed a few venues nearby but as soon as we stepped into Markovina we knew it was the one. The professionalism was top notch from the get go, so that sealed the deal for us. William and Kat has been amazing throughout the planning process and addressed any concerns and requests super quickly. Choosing the menu for our buffet was the hardest part because all the options looked so good!nnAs soon as I arrived on my wedding day I was greeted by the precious Rina Markovina, and the day went by beautifully from there! Lovely estate to host your next wedding nnWas just there to attend a lovely friend’s wedding, spectacular place to host an event. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They have a separate area for the bride and bridesmaids to change and relax away from prying eyes.
We had the most wonderful experience having our wedding at Markovina. nWe could of not ask for anything better than the hospitality we received on the whole experience.nThe process from start to finish was smooth & painless, from the introduction, admin & planning with Kat & Mark.nTo on the wedding day with Max, running the show like a boss!nThe venue is so lovely, it has light whimsical feel with its indoor vines & warm fireplace, and plenty of great outdoor spaces to choose for your ceremony or photos. On the day, the staff were professional & attentive, and the food the chefs bought out was delicious & presented well. We’d recommend to anyone to use them for a wedding, personal or corporate event, it’s perfect.
We got married here in September, From the very first moment we walked into the Markovina Estate we were absolutely blown away by the Professionalism of the staff, Mark greeted us at the gate and started showing us around the amazing venue - We were instantly sold and new straight away that we had found our venue. No other venue that we visited in Auckland came close. From the planning stages to the wedding day the team at Markovina were absolutely amazing. We chose the beautiful Barrel ceremony spot which was just beyond expectations, The venue it self is the best value for money on the market, inside we had the white drapes and starlit dance floor which was PERFECT. we opted for the Buffet dinner which was honestly one of the best meals i've ever had in my life, absolutely blew me away - every single guest at our wedding loved the food. All of our guest have told us that it was by far the best wedding they've ever been to with the best venue, alot of our guests were from Overseas aswell. The personal touches from the team was amazing, Rina greeted my wife when she first turned up for the wedding day and hid her away until it was time, Even came and helped myself and the groomsmen fix our suits. I just cannot recommend this place enough, it's seriously a day we will never forget - you will not be disappointed in your choice of Markovina!
