Story

Mark has had a varied career, with the skills he has acquired over a lifetime in the rural scene now being focused on rural, lifestyle and residential real estate for PGG Wrightson Real Estate.

After an upbringing on a high country station, Mark progressed from shepherding to farm management before purchasing his own block and setting up a contracting business, here he learned a huge amount about running a successful commercial business, which was followed by a move to sunny Marlborough and a livestock drafter’s position.
Having a land holding in the Wairau Valley, Mark and his partner, Kris are able to enjoy the Sounds with occasional visits from two grown-up children.

When not dealing with farmers, Mark can be found on a dirt bike competing in motocross or judging dog trials but will never turn down an opportunity to enjoy the fishing and diving in the Marlborough Sounds.
