Maramarua is a lovely country course not too far from Auckland. Don't expect velvet greens and manicured fairways because you won't get it but you WILL get a very enjoyable game in a lovely setting. They don't charge like wounded bulls either.
Something's wrong here as i carnt even get to maramarua from here

Great hospitality. Lots of laughs a fun group of members. Challenging course worth a few visits to practice.
Decent course with nicerolling fairways, a few challenging holes with quality nice kept greens for December. Well worth the green fee
another great golf course fairways a little dry that can be expected but the greens well looked after the Auckland seniors enjoyed there day out there is over 90 of us that play every Monday on a different course each week.
Fairly good condition.. some unforgiving deep valleys if you dont know the course
