One of the last beaches that we got to see before we departed from our month long New Zealand holiday nnGirlfriend & I walked the length of the beach hand in hand reflecting on our adventures.nnLeaving this paradise was a very hard thing to do.nnWe still can’t get over how clean the beaches are here. It’s nice to see the respect for the environment.nnWe walked out onto the wharf & gazed at Whiheke Island & dreamed a little dream.nnThere were all kinds of wee fush in the water & it was very quiet & relaxing.nnLooking forward to returning very soon.
A beautiful place to visit and have a swim or jump off the wharf. Just remember if you have an electric motor it’s 5 knots to the buoys.

Maraetai Wharf is a cafe where people can enjoy breakfast and lunch as it only opens from 7am to 2:30pm.nnWe still haven’t got any chance to dine there as we couldn’t get there before their early closing time.nnAnyway, we will try to get there for a refreshing breakfast during Easter holiday.nnWe recommend you to visit there for a lovely breakfast or lunch if you live in Maraetai, Beachlands, Whitford or East Auckland.
