It's a very social boating club and has a very good Restaurant. I have been a member for over 20 years. You can have a casual membership to use the bar and Restaurant. Great club members and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.
I’ve been here quite a few times for dinner over the last couple of years, if you’re not a member you need to be signed in by one. The drinks prices are very reasonable and a definite drawcard! The meals have been a bit hit and miss at times but as of March/April 2021 they seem to be mostly back on track. The kids meals used to be great value for money and included a scoop of ice cream for dessert, now you have to buy dessert separately for them for $8 a pop.
Amazing experience at the Maraetai Boat Club. Attending a friends wedding here in the weekend and it was perfect. The chef/manager of the reception area is THE BEST. Shoutout to Badee who put on awesome food and drinks. Favourite was the NZ Lambshanks - the sauce was epic too! The night was made thanks to him and his team. 5 stars for Badee and the crew!
Great place to launch your boat as a member with your family and friends. Make sure you check out the club rooms and restaurant upstairs. The view from upstairs is second to none across the Hauraki.
Had a lovely, lovely meal. The place was busting with people. Only thing that was a disappointment was that I turned around to chat and when I went for another mouthful, my plate had been taken!!! I wasn't happy as obviously still had more to eat. But all in all, the food was mighty fine. Definitely recommended.
Wow. Tataly blown away. Great hosts, Tracy and Henry. Excellent food full of amazing flavour. A setting that compares to the world best. A definite must.
It is very peaceful for family to go picnic and have a cup of coffe with great sea view. You can go to the playground for your children and take a walk.
Sunday dinner with stunning views over Maraetai Beach and Tamaki Strait. Good value pub type grub. Good wine selection.
Awesome place. Good for having a drink and looking over the water. Bar manager is super friendly.
Chef Buddy made the most delicious vegan salad! Amazing place with a view and nice carpet:P
