Delicious fish and chips with amazing views. First time coming to the Boat Club and I believe you need to be a member in order the done here. I was amazed at the views and the food was great. The portion size is abit small for my liking but It had a warm family vibe and by 530pm it was pretty full for a Sunday.
I’ve been here quite a few times for dinner over the last couple of years, if you’re not a member you need to be signed in by one. The drinks prices are very reasonable and a definite drawcard! The meals have been a bit hit and miss at times but as of March/April 2021 they seem to be mostly back on track. The kids meals used to be great value for money and included a scoop of ice cream for dessert, now you have to buy dessert separately for them for $8 a pop.
We took a Sunday drive out to Maraetai & came across the Boat Club CafenEnjoyed the sea views, food & coffee was excellent, staff were very friendly, a lovely day out, we will be back
Amazing experience at the Maraetai Boat Club. Attending a friends wedding here in the weekend and it was perfect. The chef/manager of the reception area is THE BEST. Shoutout to Badee who put on awesome food and drinks. Favourite was the NZ Lambshanks - the sauce was epic too! The night was made thanks to him and his team. 5 stars for Badee and the crew!
New caterers are perfect coming from ambrosia they always make the best food the bars are good to if u get a membership u get it for cheaper which is always a plus
