The old guy here I’m sure he doesn’t calculate costs of his product properly I recently purchased a 500ml sprite can and was charged $5 if I didn’t say anything he wouldn’t have realised ‍ then refused to let me switch drinks to a 1.5litre bottle and gave back change after paying via pay wave.nnJust be aware people I haven’t had the problem with the lady or young man therennThe food and everything is yummy great drink selections and mouth watering bakery food nnEdit: went there again 05/12/2025 for the benefit of the doubt that it was a one off, same guy there over charging purchased 2x sausage $7 and 1x 500ml V $4.50 he charged me $12.50 then caught him in a lie saying sausage rolls are $4 and tried to charge $13.50 his math did not add up at all ‍ then 10 mins later came back to get my partner a drink and hes then trying to charge me for my sausage roll that’s I purchased before…. Be aware of what you buy and the pricing they have on the shelf’s I am a casual customer here never had this problem with the lady or younger boy only the older man with the scar on his lip ‍ beware people
We decided to try this place out last time we came to Maraetai. The restaurant we wanted to go to was not open yet, and we were hungry, so we got steak and cheese pie from here. The pie tasted delicious last time, but we tried it again recently, and it was not anywhere close to the one we tried before. The quality seems to have dropped. I will try again to see if it was one-off. Size wise, the pie is gigantic. You can have it as a meal!
Order a snack box and ask for no chicken salt i usually check but this time i didnt and when i got home to eat the snack box it was seasoned with heaps of chicken salt. Why do you want chicken salt on chicken do better.
Received great customer service super friendly, LOVE getting their chicken snack packs with a drink and Nutella donut before heading off to the beach! They are a “must-stop” each time we are around. :
This is our local bakery and we love it. Its our go-to coffee hot chocolate for me place on the coast! The cinnamon scrolls and sugar donuts are family fav's in our house. Have also bought their sliced bread, and its lovely and fresh.
