I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were spacious and included a kitchen and dinning area, a couch, and AC. They also gave us milk for our tea : Great location if you’re going to see Hobbiton. Also great Indian food in town.
Came with my sister, partner and BIL as a stop over for Hobbiton, and honestly loved staying here. The lady that runs the place was so incredibly kind and hospitable, the rooms were super spacious, clean and comfy, and we were so close to where we needed to be
This place is fantastic. Its quiet, clean, has the basic necessities that you need in the room. Good parking, and is warm. The owners were fantastic as well, very accommodating! I will absolutely be staying here again
As we were taking an early tour in Hobbiton, this hotel in Matamata offered the cheapest value nearby. The staff was very welcoming, and the rooms were big. The laundry service was great and convenient.nnOne struggle was that the heating device was only in the living room. As it was a cold night, it did not really heat up the bedroom properly.
Budget conscious travelers will get their rewards by booking ahead,nAccommodation was clean and tidy, supplied with everything and comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Central to town about 2min walk, the Hostess was very accommodating with timeframes that sometimes arise from long distance travel. Will stay again should I be within the district of matamata, it's not the HILTON but for the money you're saving you can't complain.
