went to this school 4 years ago. teachers are horrible even if u offered them an 10 raise to there pay check the still woundt take action about ur bullying. the builders who built the relatively new area which took them like 3 years to build were not bob the builders like they were probably drinking while building no cap. saw a student the the toilet looking under the toilet door to see another person do there business, another time so two boys touching each others bums freaky ahh kids. no recommendations to go to this school, go papatoetoe central school for an much better school with no freaky kids. for further inquiries or information about this school from an student please message me. cheers to LeBron James for coming to this school for the basketball excursions.
This school is amazing! My son has been here for a year and a half and he is thriving! They have been so supportive with my son's learning. They have a great reading program which gives your child extra one on one help. They have helped me so much since finding out my son has absent seizures, from extra supervision with swimming, reading support, helping my boy get to where I work from school safely by walking him across the main intersection. I CANNOT fault them AT ALL. Best decision I made by far keep up the amazing work guys !
I will rate the school as a very good school. My daughter is attending this school. Teachers are amazing, they focus on overall development of the child. Learning the play way, focus on sports, and cultural activities. I really like the school atmosphere, students and staff. More importantly, students are well mannered and the report you get from class teacher about daily/weekly learnings and activities/tasks done with pictures of your child on an online app is a pretty cool way to keep parents updated about the child's progress. I personally like Mr. Nganu My daughter's class teacher who is really putting in his true efforts to make his class students rise and shine. Kudos to Mr. Nganu and Keep it up Manurewa Central school.
I went to this school a bit back, and it was and probably still is a horrible school. I was treated horribly by the teachers, especially Ms McCaffiegreen who mentally abused me whenever she had the chance to. I was traumatised from that school, and was being hardcore bullied within that school by multiple teachers, and many many students. I have little cousins who just finished that school, and some who are still going to that school and the school is even worse now. I would NOT recommend having your child attend this school, because of this school I was beaten, bullied by teachers and students, and when my mum had called Ms McCaffiegreen out for bullying my brother, she has disliked me ever since. I am 18 now, still traumatised from the teachers who had treated me horribly. If I hadn’t moved to Christchurch when I did, I have no clue how I would’ve ended up finishing in that school. Would not recommend.
Very diverse school. Teachers are friendly and approachable. Has a heated swimming pool which is a bonus. Very limited road parking, best option is to park at the library across the road.
They should provide table and chairs for kids atleast coz 6 hours of learning at school sitting whole day on cross legs on floor is not good for kids health like back n neck. Standards of Indian schools are better than here. I felt so bad when I saw kids sitting on the floor whole day . Please take this matter seriously for small kids.
Used to walk from Orams Rd every school day in the 1950s often barefoot, not a care in the world. Great memories. One teacher had a strap he called Mister Plonk. He would get it out and tell us stories about it’s world travels, where it had been and how sorry it felt after being used. Sure got our attention can’t think if he ever used it while we were in his class. Imagine it today.......
Best school ever!!! 1st and 2nd child have been to this school. 3rd on the way. Highly recommended to all. Have had no problems whatsoever.
