Just a lovely spot for fishing and boating you can get good food here enjoy fishing on the wharf! Or sleeping in the hotel
Much better for fish and chips than the famed Mangonui Fish Shop - better prices, variety, and service. Delicious home made mussel fritters, seafood chowder, raw fish, and some twists on the usual e.g. their "Blood & Guts" add-on to hot chips. Great milkshake flavours, really nice staff. Super welcoming staff. Lovely spot to sit in the sun and look out at the water. Great fish and chips.
At $9.00 a pint of beer, I felt it was maybe a bit too much to expect to stay for a 2nd. However, the place is historic and has great photos of the past, it also has a nice ambience about it with pretty cool staff.
The food was great so was the service.Will be going there again.
