Busy as but expected over a long weekend. Cute location. Good fish n chips, a bit on the pricy side. Loved the huge sauce selection. Cheap drinks and deserts. Great thick shakes.
Great experience and tasty, fresh fish. Sizes were tiny compared to the prices $7.20 for one small fish however the view is unbeatable, as is the service. The seagulls are beyond annoying and very ‘friendly’ with people which isn’t conducive to a peaceful meal.
We were driving through and were able to order online and specify our pickup time for exactly when we arrived. It's not cheap but the best fish n chips I've ever had. We took ours away but it looked like a great place to eat on site

Very famous, very busy, very tasty, very expensive, small portions. Our $50+ takeout for two looked like a meal for 1 from my usual chippy. A bit disappointing after a 40 minute wait. It was very yummy fish.
Overpriced and majorly under delivered. Soggy crab sticks, dry fish, inedible mussels etc etc. The most DISGUSTING fish and chip meal I ever recall having. Skip Mangonui Fish Shop and head to Opononi Fish Shop. $13 for 2 x delicious fish and 1 chips. Smiley ladies and excellent service.
