Went to the restaurant for a birthday dinner, the food was amazing, cocktails were fantastic, the service was fantastic and the owner was so lovely!!! He did everything to keep my 2 year old distracted and happy so we could enjoy dinner. Truly overwhelmed, was a great experience! Never been to a restaurant before where someone was so kind and caring to my daughter. Thank you so much! Will be back for sure! And will order the new desserts we got to test taste
Show me a more iconic pub. They carry the wholesome values and service is above and beyond. The bar man was adamant to see a smile on my face and he definitely achieved that. The kitchen was closed when I arrived but he made a delicious pub snack of chips and garlic bread WITH extra aioli. I would rate more stars if I could
Went back again on valentines day to try the new menu..nnWhat an awesome surprise.. The new menu looked very exciting, with me wanting to try it all..nThe host is very friendly and knowledgeable sharing pics and tips on the menu for things to try.. there will be coming for everyone on this menu with the kids getting pizzas and burgers, and a beautiful meal for the adults trying the new Indian cuisine available...n100% will be returning regularly to support a fellow local business, and try their new menu completely..nnThank you Sam and your team for an awesome evening and meal.
Great pub. Friendly publication Sam. One very awesome person! Having just moved to the area, the Mangatera is the closest pub to where we live. Started going there in October 2023, it has become an almost weekly event going to the Mangatera. Sam has made us feel most welcome, remembers our names and our drinks. He has made all our friends feel comfortable. Absolutely enjoy their Indian cuisine. Tonight, based on Sam's recommendation, I tried the Italian lamb meatballs. Very tasty. Would recommend a stop at the Mangatera for a relaxing drink and delicious meal.
Everything that an overnight truckie needs. We don't need much but was pleasantly surprised by everything..the restaurant had a wonderful menu and the food was top notch. The service was excellent with very friendly and helpful staff....highly recommend it even if you just want to pop in for a meal and the prices are very affordable..a lovely experience
