The food was tasty, but we had a pretty horrible dining experience overall. We asked for a curry on the vegetarian banquet to be swapped for another one. We were initially told that was impossible, but eventually they relented if we paid an extra $8. Later when we asked for containers to take the leftovers, we were again told this was impossible. Dismayed, as there was fair bit left, we kept asking until they said we could take them for $1 per item. I was less bothered by paying extra and more about the lack of responsiveness and poor customer service. I would not recommend this as a dine out place.
I am a fan of their Maharaja Banquet. As far as Indian spicy food in Kingsland goes, they are the best. If you ever feel like giving yourself a treat, do drop in to this amazing restaurant.
Ordered butter chicken with the flatty mine being vegetarian so just sauce and rice and he charged me $16 for rice and sauce and the same price as my flat mates who had chicken. The container was half full and was way over spiced. Absolutely livid never returning. The guys were rude asf and there were no mints in the jar
There are lots of Indian Restaurants in Kingsland, however, this one takes the cake. Each and every item in their menu is lip smacking, and once you visit them, like me, you will become a regular too.
I live locally to this place. I go here at least once a week. Amazing specials Monday-Thursday for all mains $10! What a bargain and you get a lot! Love the vegetarian curries and goat curry.
I ordered butter chicken and it looked soo bright when I opened it..I thought it was due to some Masala or something but after finish eating I realized after washing my hands that my hands were all orange due to the immense colour they added..I mean cummon it's 2016..never coming back again
I am a pure vegetarian, and not many restaurants can offer a pure vegetarian Indian menu in Kingsland. This is where they stole my heart. Do try vegetarian banquet, you will love it.
Being away from home can be quite painful, however, my search for the best Indian food in Kingsland came to a stop after I spotted this restaurant. Give it a try to taste authentic Indian Food.
This was the first order with this restaurant it had a good write up, but the driver was half an hour late and they did a apologise for being late. The food was ok but I thought it lacked favour and meat in the saagwala meal but the mango chicken was ok.
Absolutely the most delicious Indian food i have tasted in forever. Quality food at a reasonable price. Thanks for tickling my tastebuds.
