Thanks to Carl’s amazing teaching I was able to pass my restricted the first time around. His friendly and calm approach makes the learning process considerably easier. The advice Carl gives is exceptional and he teaches you everything you would possibly need to know and then some. Learning how to parallel park could never have been easier. I absolutely recommend Manawatu Driver Training to anybody looking to hone their driving skills.
Abosultely the BEST driving Instructor, Can not thank you enough Carl, for giving our daughter confidence not only to drive but in herself. We booked lessons to gain more confidence ahead of going for restricted and to fine tune her driving, the difference Carl made was amazing. Very grateful. Kaitlyn is off driving herself around all the time now, happy confident and independant.
Before I booked lessons with Carl and the Manawatu Driver Training I failed my restricted license so often and became really frustrated. Carl got me through the test on 1st attempt and 12 months later I also passed the full license with his help. Carl, you are a legend, so patient and such a great teacher! Carl has done such an amazing job teaching two of my kids now and the teen boy was a challenge but Carl was so great with him the grin on his face when he passed his restricted today was a proud moment. Carl goes out of his way to accommodate lessons and is a professional to deal with an absolute pleasure. Two more years and I’ll book the third kid in.

Excellent driving instructor. Good Information on finer control over vehicles and also road rules. Very good in terms of road safety knowledge as well as keeping the lessons enjoyable. Carl's way of explaining things allows for the knowledge to be retained permanently and used practically. Some of the things Carl taught me I use on a daily basis now in the workplace and in my personal life. Overall I would definitely recommend Carl as a driving instructor to anyone looking to drive safely and confidently with excellence on the road. Aaron.
Carl is absolutely fantastic. His calm, friendly manner is second to none, and he really knows how to build up your confidence in your driving and yourself. Carl really cares about his students and treats them with respect.
