I attended a two-day workshop, titled Introduction to traditional Māori healing and bodywork. I got so much more from it than what the title says- increased self-awareness, a deep dive into who I am, what makes me tick, and that was all just on day one! I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone, the experience is life changing and a little bit of vulnerability meant I had a huge growth experience. So much gratitude to the Manawa Ora team, your energy and vibe is infectious, and I appreciate you sharing your gifts with me.
Amazing experience!nThank you Jolie and your fabulous team. From the moment we walked through your door and observed the morning motivational gathering through to our personal experience never to be forgottenof Mirimiri and Romiromi we had a brilliant experience leaving on such a high, feeling energised and uplifted.nWould so highly recommend this treatment.nThank you all
I attended the 2-day course - The Foundations of Māori Bodywork and Healing.nnSuch a great foundation within their team and the way they teach and support everyone. The simplicity of life yet we are too busy to pay attention. Māori & non-Māori, Class of roughly 30 people.nnWe endured the weekend, able to get out of our comfort zones, be present together and allow us to be vulnerable while in a safe space, it was a full-on weekend of healing ourselves and each other.nnSome resonating with others and the similar situations we are all in but feeling unspoken or unheard. Reignited the flame within each of us to make the changes and take our power back was humbling.nnI highly recommend this if you are thinking about attending. Take this as your sign. Take hold of it and let it lead the way. You will be surprised how many within your own community will be there too.
It’s a little difficult to use language to describe this workshop because it’s beyond the physical world. It wasn’t just about what I learnt about this beautiful healing modality but the growth I’ve experienced both during the workshop and afterwards.nnI have been really lucky to travel the world and connect with many indigenous healers from all corners of the globe but for me this was the most powerful of them all.nnIf there is an area of your life that you’re struggling to understand or any part of your past that you want to grow from then Manowa Ora Miri Miri is the way to go.nnIt’s been three days since the workshop ended and I’m getting all sorts of realisations and downloads about who I truly am and I feel I’m on the path to breaking through some really tough programs and patterns that I have struggled with for years.nnYou really have to want to do the work of course, it’s not all light and love and there were times I felt really exposed but I can see now that it was just my own illusions of myself and old trauma being released.nnThese guys are the real deal, if you’re looking for healing or on the road to becoming a healer then this is the place for you.
Amazing people who make a real difference! The team made an extra effort to treat us both although I had only been able to make one booking in advance. We had an incredibly wholesome experience! We felt heard and seen and a life-long build up of pain being addressed. Any such treatment takes more time than we had, but even just that one appointment bared some of our most inner issues.nWe felt so welcomed and we absolutely loved the singing during our treatment
