Located just above Gates 8 and 9, a few steps after the Duty Free, the Manaia Lounge has all the essentials for a standard lounge. I combination of a handful of hot food, including a soup, drinks and cold food. There are plenty of seats however does get very busy. Better than some other domestic lounges in other countries, but shy off the mroe luxurious ones given its shared across multiple airlines. No shower facilities, but there is a computer area. Not bad.
If you prefer hot food, this wont be a good place. The hottest food i could have here is potato leek soup. Environment ok, toilet is clean, staff polite. Still can make one full if you are not too picky. I would come only if entry is free.
Really lovely lounge considering the size of the airport. The food and drink selection, although not massive, was really nice. There were plenty of places to sit with views over the tarmac. The staff were also fantastic being extremely helpful and attentive!
Only pic worth posting is the Nespresso machine as the food and other drinks selections were poor. The quality of the food wasn't any good as well. The only advantage was an escape from the crowds in the departure area which was packed. So this was a nice quiet retreat. A worthwhile visit only if you have a free entry option
Assortment of hot and cold foods. Coffee, hot chocolate and tea via self serve. Lovely staff. Just be aware that you can't get in until 2hrs before the first flight of the day. We arrived 3hrs early 10am for our flight to sit in the lounge and it wasn't yet open due to customs being closed.
I could use priority pass card for entrance this lounge. : Toilet was wonderful. Tidy, clean, comfortable. There was not a lot of variety of food but drink menu was so cool. Wine, beer, whisky or vodka you can enjoy as much as you like!
14 May 2023 The food was fantastic. The two Heathers prepared home made sandwiches , slices and coco crackles. The salsa and party pies were also much appreciated.Maybe Qantas should take note!
Lovely lounge, with a fair bit of seating. Food options are a not as extensive as other lounges, but pretty good considering Queenstown is a smaller airport. Lots of vegetarian options available. No barista coffee but Nespresso machine was available. Great location right near our gate. The staff were all fabulous and very helpful. We were there on a saturday afternoon and it was pretty qiet when we first arrived, but almost half full a few hours later- still plenty of seating available. Thank you for a nice break!
Gorgeous little lounge with fantastic service, more than adequate food and drink options, great bathrooms and a nice interior. Queenstown’s airport is small and this lounge easily beats out the QF lounges in Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart. Definitely worth a visit if passing through.
One of the worst lounges i’ve experienced in decades of frequent flying. Coffee machine broken, then fixed but ran out of milk. Lounge totally maxed out in capacity. The seating is primarily in groups of 4 meaning people take up the entire block and it’s left to you as the so called guest to claim a seat. Review said there were plenty of drinks and wide choice of snacks. Totally incorrect. Bare as bones and the so called hot selections of mini sausage roles and pizza slices were both cold and just awful. so called healthy choice was a bowl of coleslaw. What a disgrace
