We handcraft soy wax creations & diffusers locally in Wellington. We also recycle & refill both diffuser bottles & recycle candle vessels.
Welcome to Mamulu!
Would you like to come home to the smell of hot apple pie or the fresh citrus smell of Lemon Peel? Mamulu is a business that loves to generate that ‘smell good/feel good’ factor by creating amazing smells in the form of hand crafted premade or ‘pour to order’ soy wax creations and diffusers.
We have a love for our environment therefore the 100% quality soy wax we use is a completely natural vegetable wax made from a renewable source. It contains GMO-free material, is non toxic and is Kosher certified. Your candle will contain a wick made of pure cotton with a paper braid which is zinc & lead free. These wicks offer increased rigidity and enhanced burning properties for natural waxes. If, however, you would prefer a wood wick, the American Softwood wicks used come from a renewable eco-friendly environment. The wood is unbleached or treated with any harsh chemicals and a natural oil is used to assist with performance and burning. They will add a new dimension to your candle by producing a mesmerizing 'crackle' sound as they burn.
Mamulu loves to recycle wherever we can so it is with that in mind that we offer you the opportunity to turn something that once was considered trash into a new kind of treasure! We have our own supply of preloved vessels but feel free to bring in your own vessel (glassware, china, pretty much anything you like) and choose a fragrance and wick of your choice to bring new life back into something you may have previously thrown away. Got an almost empty diffuser bottle? Bring it in for a refill! Acquired something ‘old’ that you want to rejuvenate into something ‘new’ or do you have a set of glassware that has a piece or two missing? Well recycle it and put these once beautiful pieces back to good use!
Whether you want something new for yourself or want some gifts ideas for friends or whanau, we’ve got something for everyone.
