Bakgat! The biltong was definitely the best I have ever bought - not only in NZ, but in South Africa too - and I'm a greybeard; it was well spiced and neither too salty nor too moist. Apart from the biltong, we went there to stock up on rusks, and followed the friendly suggestion to try some locally made alternatives; we did, and found them much better than the old established Oumas we had been buying up until then. If it hadn't been for the fact that we fly out in April we would definitely have stocked up on more SA goodies.
Never have I ever had biltong so good! Love the range of gifts on display & various sizes of vellies for adults and children. The customer service is always a 10, welcoming staff
Best biltong you could ever get. Chilli sticks absolute to die for. Bloody mouth watering after you first bite, you just dont wanna stop. Beautiful store, with beautiful and amazing service. Straight from the start all this store does is impress, impress and succedd. Have to stop in when you get the chance
The biltong here is so great, they cut it in front of you and ask if you like, dry, wet, thick, thin, with or without fat. The lady is so friendly and chatty! This is my go-to shop for biltong, especially when I need to buy a gift for hubby !
