This is a very special place and it is very evident that the owners and staff of Wonderland make every effort to ensure that guests enjoy their stay. Although the chalets are old they were very warm and comfortable - charming! The kids loved the pool and the food was fantastic. A wonderful place for a family holiday!!
Quiet, lovely main lodge with tasty meals morning through to evenings, an open fire in the cooler months and great outdoor BBQ area. Chalets are clean and cute with own outdoor seating. Close to lots of day and overnight walks.
Gosh, what a difference a couple of years made. We almost didn't stop since we were not impressed during our last visit. However, in need of coffee we did stop which we're glad we did. We had a delightful visit this time. The coffee and food was great and customer service was excellent.
Good stay. Tidy and friendly but a bit run down kitchen door broken, lightbulbs missing. Kitchen missing a few things very limited fridge space, no chopping knives, gas cookers mostly not working.
Great beds! Quiet place! Clean facilities! Definitely recommended.
Decent place with a welcoming staff. The chalets were passable, but in need of upgrading. The four-fin heater was not up to the job in late June. Showers were too dodgy to use. Good food though, and a nice atmosphere in the pub.
