I was pleasantly surprised by my takeaway from here on Christmas eve. Having moved from England I'm still adapting to the Kiwi-friendly slightly sweeter and creamier curries. The sauce itself was decent, but the quality and size of lamb in the curry was exceptional. Friendly service too. Nice little joint they've got going, I look forward to another dish on my next visit.
I like to think of myself as a curry connoisseur having traveled India extensively, and have eaten lots of curry while living in the UK. This curry was highly competitive with anything I've had previously, we were really impressed. It was particularly nice to ask for a hot curry and for it to be genuinely hot, not something you always get in NZ.nKeep up the good work!
So much value for money! The meat was generous and perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. The service was a real highlight though, can’t wait to return!
Such incredible food and lovely service! The portions are amazing too! I had the chicken saag and the garlic naan and it was amazing. We are so excited to come back and try other dishes.
For the last night of our holiday we quickly grabbed some Indian takeaway. Guy at the desk was really friendly. All curries were GF.nGot the usual Butter Chicken good/average and at his recommendation we got the Lamb Saagwala - best I’ve ever had! Warm spice but very flavourful. Would go back next time we’re up!nNaan was delicious too. Liked that it was precut which made it easier to share around the kids.nTook only 10mins from order to pick up while we waited in the square.
