We were heading out for fish n chips but our nose followed in direction of the aroma. We ordered butter chicken for the kids, yum! Their chicken tikka was delicious, comes with sauces too complit. Moist and full of flavour. Packing a punch of spices. Their lamb briyani was so yummy and not for the faint hearted. So delicious that even when you're full, you will still gobble it all up!nPays to call in your order first.
We had the malai kofta, it was DELICIOUS. The tadka - so delicious! Garlic naan was fab too.
I was pleasantly surprised by my takeaway from here on Christmas eve. Having moved from England I'm still adapting to the Kiwi-friendly slightly sweeter and creamier curries. The sauce itself was decent, but the quality and size of lamb in the curry was exceptional. Friendly service too. Nice little joint they've got going, I look forward to another dish on my next visit.
Such great service and the food is so delicious. Very affordable. Will definitely be back!
While we only get the basic butter chicken, it is by far the best butter chicken in the North Island.nNaan is also cooked perfectly.
