Went with. Family after the jan 15 scare. So was empty. Not a single person : Anyway decor is nice and the staff friendly. Food served with 10-15 mins so that was good. Now the taste was bland. Malaysian food is usually quite spicy but this is probably fusion food. V ordered hawker rolls chicken and egg pant and these are probably their best. V also had Meegoreng, nasi goreng, sambal prawns with okra, sticky beef ribs. The beef ribs were slighty chewy though. Once again presentation was nice, but very bland although the portion were good sized. Really nothing to write about... Food price is comparable to other restaurants except the beef ribs which were expensive and not worth.. Probably once a visit.. or maybe skip!!!
Had a really nice meal here with great speedy service and a nice, casual vibe. Would recommend the pork wontons, the dipping sauce is to die for! Cocktails are also great. Meal price is also great. Book ahead as this place is popular.
Really enjoyed the meals they were yummy and the staff were super friendly and nice gave really good advice and was super helpful when it came to food allergies went and checked with the chef if particular foods were in the meal
Malaysian here. Satay had none of the chargrilled flavor seems like they slap on some turmeric and put it in the oven, meat was wet and juicy, in a bad way. The roti canai roll was creative. But had none of the Malaysian flavours. Just sweet. The decor and music were very westernized. It was modern and clean but nothing authentic. If you want bland westernised Malaysian food with a cup of wine, then this is the perfect place for you!
food is pretty good!! had the nasi lemak and the pork belly which was good, the other stuff like the rendang and all that is also not too bad! doesn’t taste super authentically malaysian, but the food is definitely decent. really expensive for asian food though
Good service, every one was friendly to us.Laksa taste good, pork belly was so so.you have to try the salt coconut mango ice cream, amazing!!
Had a very enjoyable meal. All the dishes we ordered were very good. The service was friendly and efficient. We had a large table next to us which was a bit noisy but it didn't detract too much from our evening. The ambiance was pleasant but the temperature a bit on the cool side.
Great service from the staff and food was presented well! Tasted great. Bit pricey
Food very tasty, prices medium, service excellent. Some great vegetarian options, not many but all quite tasty! Just be warned many of the dishes are very spicy. Not four stars because that they don't split bill by what you ate, only in equal parts, which I find a bit unfair to those who don't drink alcohol or have dessert. Surely is not that much more expensive for the owners to incorporate a system like the rest of the restaurants that allows you to pay only for what you actually consumed!
Totally lovely Dining experience!. Service was a top 10, food also 10, as was ambience and decor! We arrived half an hour before the reservation and were seated straight away, with menus presented and drinks orders filled immediately. We chose to share our first course of dumplings, wontons and some delicious corn spring rolls. They arrived with dipping sauces. All was devoured quick smart! He had Ginger Chicken for the main, I had the Pork Belly and Chinese Greens and a side of coconut rice. All cooked and presented beautifully. We couldn't manage deserts for obvious reasons! I was so looking forward to the Portuguese Tarts, but that's left for next time, and there will be a next time! Highly recommended, an excellent and thoroughly great place to dine with close and easy parking mid city.
