Came here for lunch and it took 20 minutes for our orders to be taken. I had the Moroccan spiced lamb which was great, but my boyfriend ordered his steak burger medium rare and it came out well done. After waiting another 30 minutes for a new one it also ended up being medium well.Recommended dishesLamb Rump, Burger
Hearty delicious meals at a great price. We were abit worried about the quality of the steak because the prices were low but what we were served was beautifully cooked & superb value for money. We eat out regularly & were very impressed with the food, prices & service. Highly recommend!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Best place to eat in rotorua. Monday night service was brilliant. Venison was delicious Steak was tender Salad was the best I have ever had. You would be missing out not going here. Everything was perfect. Very good Service staff also. Hats off to the Chef.
Lovely food but a bad service and not friendly staff. The staff need to take the day off if they can't cope with the busy hours. The young lady serving our table appeared grumpy and rude, rolling her eyes when she was asked to tidy the table we chose to sit. The behaviour of the staff will affect the taste of the food and the level of experience of the customer. Feeling sorry for the chef and his/her great work as the attitude of this person made us to not come back to this place again. Lovely and tasty salad was served in a chipped bowl, these details will put the level down.
You know it's not going to be good when even the hot chips are not satisfactory. Steak was returned as it was over done, fish was over cooked, the burger meat was chewy, and the big breakfast item was served in a bowl that made eating difficult, not to mention the blandness. Between the five of us who attended lunch today, zero were satisfied with our meals. When paying $140 for our lunch, we expect much better. While paying for our food there were two other customers complaining about their meals also. We will not return.
Just solid pub food! Great steak and chips! Awesome atmosphere with a whole street full of food places to walk down and choose from. Nice wall with a fire in it at the end of the table for ambiance and heat

Read the reviews and was a little nervous but needn't have worried the ribs were amazing my husband devoured them. And I had the chicken breast which was tender and so full of flavour.Food: 5/5
Lamb was cooked to divine perfection in housemade horopito. Lighting was neat and there was a fireplace outside should customers get cold. Staff were friendly and regularly checked on our table.
The food is great. The BBQ ribs and the lamb were really delicious. We love the risotto as well. The price was reasonable. Recommended.Food: 5/5
