MalcolmMAC is a reflective kind of songwriter living down under in Dunedin, New Zealand. He shares insights and relates experiences utilizing a rock style reminiscent of the late 1960's/early 70's while remaining uniquely alternative. He might be an old fella, but for MAC, rock'n roll has never lost its luster as a communicative medium subversive to the status quo on the one hand even as it provides opportunity to help birth a better world on the other.

Some of his content is controversial but it is always angled positively in catchy tunes loaded with melody. It may only be rock'n roll but it always carries a well thought out message. If you like your rock to say something worthwhile then MalcolmMAC's approach is well worth a listen. Sounds bloody good too just quietly!

By the way, MAC writes all of his material, sings all of the vocals, plays every instrument, and does his own recording.

You won't find him doing music these days due to a loss of dexterity in his fingers because of arthritis. On the other hand, you will come across him in Dunedin's live performance venus as "The Reflectionist" delighting audiences with his take on what's what as he performs his stories and poems.
