Mel is super friendly and serves amazing coffee, delicious sausage rolls and other goodies. Look out for the coffee sign just as you enter the village. Great view of the chateau and mountain so it's a great spot to stop for photos.
I was here a year ago, and what an upgrade! Same great service, fresh food and manaaki. Stopped in for lunch while waiting for my accommodation to be ready. Lovely ham, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich - generous fillings. Awesome to korero Māori in such a normal and natural way.nnNga mihi o te tau hou Pākehā.
Lovely stop for a post hike coffee and pie! The owner is incredibly friendly and the pies were seriously delicious highly recommend the pepper steak and the feta spinach roll
Stop off for quick coffee Ended having toasties as well. Great hospitality and food. Coffee by Redline was amazing . Worth the stop after a days skiing or sightseeing venture. Thanks Mel for your hospitality!
adorable wee coffee cabin with a gorgeous view to the mountains, look out for the sign as you enter whakapapa village!! Mel is so sweet and friendly, making banging coffees & the sausage roll was delicious!!
