Lyall Bay Community Church

A wonderful community church A local church for local folk They are a community oriented church that meets on Sundays at 10am and every 1st Sunday on the month meet down at the beach playground to support the local beach clean. They have been very supportive not just on Sundays but throughout the week. There are many opportunities to engage with this genuine bunch of people and the inclusive culture they have fostered over the years. You can engage with daily prayer rhythms, meals together, game nights, small groups, local initiatives they support, community gardens, services etc. They are small but mighty in faith with a strong grounding in Jesus and accountable teaching and support from the Anglican Diocese. They have beautiful worship, sound, reflective nd creative sermons. Actively Support Relationship, mental health, reconciliation, Te reo maori, foster community, prayer, climate change, ‍ LGBTQ+, welcoming to families, educated teaching. They are genuine and caring folk who have a big heart for the Lyall Bay community. I have been supported by them with their generosity, care and grace and are now helping start a community garden over the road at 67 Freyberg Street.
