We recently returned from our 17 day tour of New Zealand and can’t stop talking about our amazing trip. Veronika put together a detailed itinerary that was perfect for our active lifestyle. She was very easy to deal with and quickly responded to our emails. Our guide Uli was fantastic and the perfect guide. He used his extensive local knowledge to tweak our itinerary as needed to fit our love of the outdoors. We also benefited from his love of coffee and good food. I would highly recommend Veronika and Aroha tours to anyone who wants to explore the real New Zealand.
Aroha Tours was absolutely amazing! By far the best experience I have had booking through any travel agency to date. Veronika is excellent to work with while planning your vacation. She's responsive, pays attention to details enabling a perfectly executed itinerary upon arrival. Jurgen, our driver, was knowledgeable, informative, and genuinely a nice person to spend two weeks with on the North and South islands. One thing that I believe set Aroha Tours above others was their ability to let you relax and let them handle the details. We had some tours cancelled due to weather related issues and Veronika and Jurgen were constantly on the phone rescheduling tours in order to fit activities back into our schedule. Meanwhile, our group is enjoying lunch or dinner, relaxing while they're at work. Truly a stress free and relaxing trip. I am unable to express enough how much I enjoyed my trip to New Zealand and the fact that we chose Aroha Tours. I will definitely use their services again and recommend them to everyone who is looking to travel to New Zealand!
Recently returned from a 3 1/2 week trip organized by Aroha. Expectations were exceeded! Veronika put together an outstanding package for us. We traveled with another couple and we all had different expectations from the trip, none of us were disappointed. Our driver guide, Meghan, deserves special mention. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable and the trip would not have been the same without her. So glad we used Aroha!

Veronika and the team at Aroha Tours provided an unbelievable holiday experience for my touring party. The itinerary was outstanding highlighting some of the better and lesser known parts of New Zealand. This was the trip of a lifetime for a lot of people and they will remember it and speak about it for the rest of time! I cannot recommend them and their services enough!
Trip of a lifetime! We travelled with Aroha Tours during our trip to New Zealand in August 2016, and could not recommend them more highly. Veronika planned a wonderful 8-day trip for us, and the itinerary was just right. She customized the tour to our preferences and expertly handled every step of the way. We visited both the North and South Islands. Even our 10-year-old had fun during the entire trip. The fact that Veronica and Stephen were there with us throughout the trip made the trip comfortable and stress-free for us. We had some unique experiences - saw birds nesting in groups near the Tasman Sea, saw glowworm caves, and took a helicopter ride and landed on a glacier on top of Mt. Cook. The food in every place we visited had so much flavor. All the places that Veronika and Stephen recommended to us was amazing. New Zealand is a place that everyone should visit at least once. To see the best of New Zealand and have a wonderful trip at the same time, choosing Aroha New Zealand Tours is a must!! We have just finished our trip from New Zealand a couple weeks ago, Veronika has planned and arranged the best trip we have ever had. Great food, great places, and Veronika has been so caring and fun, hahahahha. It was such a great and wonderful trip that we will never stop talking about. Our party of 4 two sisters + spouses worked with Aroha Tours to plan a dream trip of our lifetime to New Zealand. We were not disappointed! We told Veronica what was important for us to see and visit and she also made a few brilliant suggestions. We opted for a driver whom Veronica personally picked for us who drove our party from Auckland all the way down to Queenstown who added to our experience with his many insights to not only the sights we visited but also the history, culture, and politics of New Zealand. A much better experience and not much more cost than arranging one of those bus tours crowded with other tourists! Of course, we absolutely fell in love with New Zealand even wondering when we could come back again. Probably the BEST VACATION we have had to date. Because we had a driver and an itinerary all planned out by Aroha Tours, we didn't have any worries other than to have our bags packed and ready to take off to our next destination. Every detail was taken care of so we could truly just relax and enjoy our vacation trip. We experienced places we would never had personally discovered on our own and were delighted with everything we saw and everyone we met innkeepers, etc.. Can't wait to plan another trip soon!!!
