Really helpful staff and no denying the shop is a feast for the senses, can usually smell a Lush before you even reach it. Colour palette to suit all
Yog Nog, the shower gel we buy every Christmas is now discontinued. Maple syrup, clove & ylang ylang made it smell luxurious. Very disappointed with this decision. Complained online, only to be responded to by a chatbot. Lush is generally overpriced, but has good quality bath bombs and shower gels/creams.
I asked if any of the products would be suitable for me as I have eczema. Thank you to the really friendly person sorry I didn't get your name who was incredibly helpful and understanding, recommending products that are potentially suitable for me and gave me a free bath bomb and a shower gel sample to try out. First visit and a very pleasant one. Great customer experience, I'm sure I will be back. Thank you!
Very disappointing visit. My two young daughters always love a visit to lush due to the fantastic service and the opportunity to smell and try the products. This has always been the norm and so when entering the Bury Rock branch today we thought this would also be the case especially as there were signs up saying “try me”. Immediately my daughter touched the tester pot a lady rushed over to tell her she was doing it wrong and was huffing and puffing. She then blatantly said to one of her colleagues “go and watch them”. It was very uncomfortable. I tried to explain she was only looking, however it was clearly frowned upon. Definitely not our usual experience of Lush.
Yasmin gave the best experience today while in the shop, explaining in detail each bath bomb and the best one suitable for me, will definitely return thanks to her!

In comparison to every other lush I have been to, this one was disappointing. The staff are normally so helpful and very friendly, but in this shop they weren’t. I normally go to the Arndale store in Manchester, and we have a great time in there, the staff can’t do enough for you. We chat, they give us demonstrations of their new products, and we always feel so welcome. In the Bury branch, we felt like we were intruding on their shop when we asked for help, and when the staff member finished answering my question, they asked very abruptly, “was that it?” As though they couldn’t wait to get away from us, or like they wanted us to go away from them. We all have a bad day, and hopefully this was the case today, and they don’t treat all customers like they treated us today. As for the shop itself, very clean, very well laid out. In terms of expectations, 2/5 stars seems very fair.
Great staff. Very helpful as just been diagnosed with am allergy to products. All labels checked before allowing.me to try them. Didn't buy that much. But will be going back for more. Great customer experience.
As soon as I walked in I was welcomed with a smile. No pushy sales but felt happy to ask when needing assistance. Can't remember the name of the two ladies who helped and demonstrated a bath bomb, but thank you!
