$360 for a half head of highlights, I normally feel light and breezy leaving the salon, felt stripey highlights and frizzy/puffy they didn't know how to diffuser dry, even though I had actually asked for a blow wave. They don't offer coffee and the salon interior feels a bit abandoned for a "fancy" place. Had the same experience years ago, wanted to give it another go but now feel confident to say don't go here. I normally get the same thing at other fancy hairdressers for $250 and feel and look great, too bad, gave it a go. In the morning I'm actually really upset, look at the choppy highlight line, embarrassing.
I was extremely lucky to be a guinea pig for a product learning event at Luca with Libby! The space is beautiful, light, and open. Excellent coffee delivered directly from the delightful French café next door while I got my hair done. Deliriously happy with the result!! Libby is always a delight, and her knowledge and experience with my hair usually very difficult for stylists means that I can always trust her to make me look incredible. I followed Libby from her last salon, as I’ve always loved how Libby treats my hair and me. She’s so professional and knowledgeable, I feel comfortable and safe in her hands. The salon was beautiful and really nice to spend time in - as I was in the chair for a while because of the service that I was getting. I’ll definitely be coming back.Service: Hair coloring
My appointment was with Rique and I had Master Extra Fine Full Head Foils. I left feeling so pampered and a full cup. As I have a lot of hair, naturally dark and going blonde, I was there for a decent chunk of time to be expected. But during that time I felt like the attention was entirely on me and working towards getting the best results possible. I am so fussy with my hair, and I was beyond happy with the result. Came in for a balayage with Libby, absolutely adored my time there and I'm extremely happy with the results! Really nice salon environment; a lovely balance of cosy and sleek, stylish decor, and great music selection/volume. Their consultation process was really in depth and personalised which made it so easy to communicate the results I was looking for with Libby, who perfectly brought that vision to life in my hair. She was very professional and fun, as well as communicative and accomodating to my comfort and needs throughout the whole process. Overall, I would highly reccomend a visit to Luca Hairstyling, and I'd love the opportunity to book in with Libby again!Service: Balayage

This salon was a bit out of my normal price range, but after reading the reviews I decided to splurge. It was the perfect birthday treat! Rique was charming, professional and gave me the best hair cut and colour of my life. The final result was perfectly suited to my colouring and maintenance preferences, and exceeded my expectations . A hair wizard and a pleasure to chat to - thanks Rique!
