Waited like 2 hours and my chips were definitely not “double cooked” I didn’t even eat half of them same with someone else who I was with. Soggy and hard chips. staff were not particularly friendly or accommodating. They didn’t like the size of our group despite there being free tables , at first they turned us away even though at the time the restaurant was basically empty. We went for brunch and left at 1:10pm. Disappointed
Birthday dinner for my Aunty Friday 22nd November 2024. This place was getting quite busy. I'm lucky I had booked my table online. So we started with some beers and then a Margherita pizza.nNext Super Alpha Battered Fresh Fish with a bottle of Rongopai Pinot Gris.nI had to try some cocktails too, so glad we did. Enjoy everything
This cute little dive bar with their own garden in the back pleasantly surprised me. I had the big breakfast- and every item was cooked perfectly and tasted heavenly. A beautiful chutney to accompany the meats, and fresh veggies that brought a nice balance to the larger meal.nnGreat calm music in the background and the latté was really delicious.nnThis was a nice surprise because yesterday I spent twice the amount of money at a fancy vineyard and was disappointed. Thanks for allowing me to experience your beautiful cuisine.
Lovely venue and great food, we ate in the courtyard, was great to be able to bring our wee dog in. Initially we were on the wonderfully warm concrete bench seat, but MIL whose bday it was was cold so when another table became free they were able to re-seat us. Also took our group of 7 in at very short notice. Attention to detail checking for allergy vs preference, and very respectfully, was excellent. Good value for money and large portion sizes.
Hard to write as I have been going here for the last few years when I've been at the bach, but I've only ever dined in.nnThis is for the takeaway pizza only the restaurant mains are pretty goodnnMy wife and I ordered two pizzas and fries. After Heaven's wood fire pizza closed, we weren't too sure where to go. I had hoped that the pizza from Long Beach would be as good as their main meals, but I was absolutely disappointed.nnWe spent over $70 on some of the most bland pizza we've ever eaten. For that price, you expect some of the most delicious pizza right?? Nope. Even dominos on their worst nights are better than this. Felt like I was eating soft cardboard. Zero flavor.nnIf you are going to get a Pizza, do not get it from here. Dine-in and order one of their mains.nnI cannot stress how bland both pizzas were and the chips were soggy. Only ended up eating one slice, such a waste.
