"If you're staying in Wānaka, come see us at our new space - 50 Cardrona Valley Road! We've had a bit of an upgrade... as well as being able to pick up your lift passes, rental gear and do some shopping. Our new space is also home to a full bar and restaurant called Après. Serving a full menu including wood-fired pizza, poutine and more, and a fully-stocked bar with NZ craft beer, wine and spirits, you'll want to stop in at Après on your way home from the mountain. Happy hour is from 5-6pm each day and they've got live music every Friday."

Mixed review. Went in at 6:30 one night to pick up hired snow gear was told that was enough time as they shut at 7 but security gate was closed. Asked staff who were inside sitting at desks and told just to come back tomorrow. Next morning was better - friendly and attentive service to find the right fitting hire gear. In saying that, there was no real engagement or excitement - I would've thought after a few quieter years that there would be some passion but it was more made to feel they were just passing the time.
Cardrona the family loves going skiing. Even though it's a bit late in the season it's still lots of fun.
Great day on the snow, good instructors and flexible lesson structures.

Nice little shop, staff helpful, gear is reasonably priced. Anything with Cardrona printed on it well anything that has a Mt name.on it! Is a bit pricey.
Everywhere in the South Island is worth visiting, everywhere you look is beauty in one form or another.
