A busy bustling place for a drink or meal. Easily kept warm near the open fire inside. Pizza was $23, plenty to share. Their Thursday steak was well cooked. They have a limited wine selection with roughly 3 brands of wine per type. Also a small cocktail list.
Lovely place, sat outside nice outside garden bar., super dog friendly, gave us attention and water straight away. Lovely friendly staff, we didn't eat here but saw the bar snacks come past looked great and very good sizes.Service: 4/5
Decided to come for a night out in town and I can honestly say that my grandad with Parkinson's could mix two songs together better. Have never seen a so called "DJ" butcher mixing music so bad I would say stick to changing the wiggles CD's at a kids party but he'd probally stuff that up aswell, you'd be better of just having Spotify on shuffle. Also disgusting toilets like honestly clean up.
Appalling customer service. Manager completely disregarded the situation at hand and had little to no understanding or resolve. Worst experience I’ve had going out within 10 years of living in Hawke Bay. Wouldn’t recommend in any capacity.. would rather drink and watch paint dry then visit here again.

The pizza bread was a surprise with rich cheesy & garlic flavor, nice spot for a drink or dinner after work. Love the service and atmosphere, will be back again.
We had a booking for 30 people but they couldn't find it. We had to wait ages for our dinner from the time we ordered itFood: 3/5
On arrival I was looking for a group who had booked a table rather than wander around the venue with covid restrictions, I approached the bar, to which the owner replied rather gruffly while pouring a beer "I'm busy ask someone else" -not great customer service. When I was taken to my group, the young staff working at our table were polite & helpful. The meals were nice.
Had a booking for 6pm tonight.Arrived on time and our reserved table had just been allocated to another group,bar staff were very confused about what to do and could not seat us at another comfortable table as we are not young.For a first time visitor this is not acceptable so went elsewhere.Not worth any stars.
