Banks Penninsula A and P Show is held in Little River Domain each summer. The domain is on the edge of the small settlement, next to the school, on the road to Akaroa. The A and P Show is small but mighty. A great day out for locals and worth the time travelling for those in Christchurch.
Was there for the Little River Giant pumpkin festival 18 April 2021. It was so nice and enjoyable. Live Band was there and running races and LRS Students perfom Kapa Haka and lots of food and hand crafted stuff. Very recommend for parents with children. It was a lots of fun for kids.
Lovely spot to take a rest or a picnic. Ringed with mature trees, it is a very beautiful park.
went there for the little river pumpkin show. it's a great show for little ones, but really inconvenience that most shop still only take cash, its even worse when the ATM out of service due to low signal.
pumpkin festival was so so so good, we had great day at little river! Just curious witch pumpkin is winner
