LiteGreen is committed to delivering sustainable building solutions with a mission to build above what is being accepted as a code minimum standard in NZ.

Story

If we are honest, the only truly sustainable building option is to not build at all, but if you have to build then why not build ‘Green’ or ‘LiteGreen’.

The concept of Green Building to us is as simple as incorporating as many practical Sustainable and Green options as possible, creating homes that are not only healthy and durable to live in, they are actually affordable now and in the future while minimising the harmful effects on our natural environment.

Mission

Did you know, homes built to the current New Zealand Building Code are the worst houses you can legally build in New Zealand?

That's why LiteGreen was formed in the first place, out of simple frustration seeing hundreds of ‘Code-Minimum’ houses being delivered every year as something imitating a house that could simply be done so much better.

We love the world we live in and we like to do our bit by changing the accepted standard in New Zealand housing. By blending the right mix of technology, building processes and systems, new building materials and the integration of sustainable design principals, along with having a team that is passionate about what we do is the key to delivering simply better homes, often with little or no extra cost.

Our mission is to make sustainable and green building achievable and universal so that building sustainability becomes the new normal, its as simple as that!
