Wash is $5, drier is $5 but laundromat card is $1 so you're basically forced to pay $20 for a single wash.nnThe hotel laundry service would have ended up being the same price, except more convenient and I wouldn't have been rewarding this business for their dishonest practice.
There are only 3 smaller washers and people don’t come back for their stuff. Liquid laundromat could add way more in that giant space but the cynic in me thinks they do it to make you pay for the larger, more expensive ones…
The worst laundry in all of New Zealand. I wasted time and money because my clothes never dried or got washed properly. Three washing machines were out of order and another one broke down while I was there, but no one came to fix them.

Hopefully, locals are so friendly and shared a scoop.nn2. a bit weird to still use plastic cards:na. Recharge can only be done as of multiple of 10nzd of which 1nzd for plastic card.n6nzd warm washing and 5nzd for drier => math doesn’t work with 9nzd credit to pay for 11nzd value washing and drying, so you need to recharge for another 10 nzd. And what should I do with remaining credit 9nzd? =>not suitable for 1time wash or rather expensive in this case. Again, thanks to locals nb. Plastic cards are not sustainable! I saw the same machines in Australia directly connected to credit card machine - just an idea for renewal period.
Good clean facilities. Good amount of machines and different sizes. Use these laundromats all over the country. Uses the card.
