Lightwire is an internet service provider passionate about innovating and delivering fast, reliable broadband for homes and businesses.

We’re local to the Waikato and Bay of Plenty and we know rural internet connectivity across the region like the back of our hand. 15 years ago, our Founders pioneered fixed wireless internet connections for rural communities and schools. Today, we connect thousands of rural homes throughout the region to fast, reliable internet.

Our business services span the length of New Zealand and across the Tasman to Australia too, offering great Internet, voice and WAN solutions.

Have been so impressed by the end to end experience with Lightwire. The customer service team are the most helpful I have come across in a long time, the technician who did our install just made it happen during our build, as we were living out of town at the time, and the communication was excellent. We were a little concerned that the internet speed would be a problem as I work from home, we shouldn't have been as it is faster and more reliable than when we were living in town using wireless next to a tower! Thanks Lightwire for making this such a great experience for us. I would definitely recommend to others living rurally.
Luke from Lightwire was very helpful and got my connection set up super fast, their customer service is excellent and the internet speed is amazing. I would definitely recommend Lightwire if you live rurally, previous company’s had failed to establish a connection whereas Lightwire connected instantly. Very pleased overall.
We've been with Lightwire since we moved to a rural area a few months ago. The tech who came to assess our 'line of sight' persevered until he got very good reception, which we can get in every room of our two story home. This is a vast improvement on the fibre internet we had in the middle of the city we moved from. It is fast and reliable and we are more than happy Lightwire.

I am situated in a place where there was very limited and slow access to the internet. After joining Lightwire my speed has increased significantly and I am currently considering changing my telephone connection as well. Lightwire have given me exceptional service for which I appreciate.
We had our phone and internet provided by the copper wire system. As older customers it was daunting to need to change providers. Lightwire were fantastic. One phone call gave us confidence that we would future proof ourselves. This was followed up within days with a technician who said we had a direct sight line and it was going to provide us with more data and a landline for less per month than our copper wire provider. The system was easily installed and the technician explained and answered all our questions. We kept our landline number too. After installation we were contacted and visited by a supervisor who checked the installation and understanding of Light Wire. We have had no problems
Recently joined up with Lightwire and it's been great. Prompt customer service, easy to contact via the call centre/instant messaging, install process was smooth and easy to understand. Would recommend!

Excellent service. They were able to get me up & running with one quick phonecall - my internet was ready within 20mins. Another company had failed to connect me after 2 weeks of trying so I was extremely pleased to find Lightwire. No issues at all with my connection - it has never cut out.
I needed my internet connected in a hurry as i work from home, i was stressed as it was a new build and was unsure how difficult our installation would be, Lightwire was fantastic from the start, super quick to get back to me to confirm a date for installation and they even came out prior to installation to ensure we had coverage which was awesome! I have since passed Lightwire's details onto many neighbours for fast reliable internet. I couldn't be happier!! A+++
