Having visited this chemist shop for my covid booster shot. I was pleased to bring my wife here for her to choose the cosmetic products that she wanted. The beautician was very very helpful and certainly knew the range of products available. This meant that for the second time we were very satisfied with the overall level of service and the appearance of the shop in general. Would certainly recommend this chemist shop.
First review and first time I've felt compelled to comment. Had some experiences recently where the staff have been quite rude, which was never my previous experience. Barely answer the phone. The organization and management of this pharmacy needs some serious work.
I initially experienced pretty terrible customer service and sent an email just letting them know of my experience. The owner Conrad called me up to apologise and explain why the experience might have been that way post-COVID staff shortages, inexperienced staff, overworked staff etc. He then offered to help out with what I needed right away. They say it's not about how you messed up, but how you recover from that, and I really appreciated my conversation with Conrad. It turned the experience from something frustrating into something really good. Cheers.
Very unhappy today. Staff are not very friendly and not communicating well. I was told the prescription will be ready in about 20 minutes and I was waiting in front of the counter for 25 minutes. Nobody check on me even few other customers has already got their prescriptions. Finally I got mine, then a pharmacist told me one of the item is out of stock. it is okay that happens but they tried to charge me for that as well. Also I asked if I can get back the prescription which hasn't dispensed and the shop staff had no idea what to do. She said I can go any other pharmacy with the receipt from them. I know I need my prescription back to go other pharmacy and I asked her if it's really true. She was very annoyed to ask other staffs and pharmacists didn't even care what is happening in front of them. I think there should be improvement in communication. I wouldn't go back.
I dont normally complain, bt a friend and myself went in to get our booster shots and the woman who was doing the service came across really rude towards both of us. She ddnt even introduce herself, she wasn't warm, she wasn't polite, she wasn't friendly and it was like she wanted us out of there as fast as she could. I understood she was a little bit under pressure because the lady who is usually there to do admin wasn't there however, it wasn't busy and we were the only ones there getting our booster. No line etc. When she finished both of us, she said just to go and sit up the front. Then she said "aw if you get chest pains, or your heart starts racing see a doctor. You should already know this info from the first 2 shots" like we were stupid. Then we went to sit up the front for the 15 minutes we had to wait then she came over and said, we have to move and get out of her way. We had another 10 mins to wait. No manners. No apologies. Just a "move" The way she treated us felt almost borderline racist vibes. We ended up just leaving because of how rude she was. If you are doing mahi like this, your customer service skills needs to be better. If you were having a bad day, don't take it out on your customers and if you don't like your job... get a new one. I have been working in customer service for 14 years, and have never treated people like this even on a bad day. I've never come across someone so rude. Very unhappy.
I went for a walk-in booster jab here. The set-up was clear and well-organised, and all of the staff I spoke to were really friendly and helpful, especially the vaccinator. They made me feel confident and well-informed about the process. Because of the great customer service I got from this experience, I would definitely go back for any future pharmacy needs. Cheers.

I cant help but feel a distrust between the dispensary and the customers, having spoken to a number of people in my apartment building who used this pharmacy I cant help but feel this is not an isolated incident. I feel dishonesty between a pharmacist & their customers is a big deal to put it nicely. You should always feel a pharmacist is being truthful and to find out this was not the case was incredibly concerning & when there was no one who I could raise this incident with I can't. help but feel this was not an isolated incident. Very disapointed
On Thursday 18th of February, I went to the pharmacy to do some shopping like I do from time to time. Life pharmacy Birkenhead is my favorite pharmacy in the neighborhood. The pharmacy staff is amazing, very friendly, helpful, respectful and quite patient with us the customers. In all this years as a customer,never ever had a problem until that day . The "lady" who works at the beauty section, who they say is the Queen of facial eventsStephanie,talked to me with high disrespect, yelled at me like if I were her grandchild,and took the liberty of insult me;calling me RUDE,when actually, she was the RUDE ONE. ...and because I have an accent,she made me repeat what I wanted 3 times, even after showed her the product,saying that she couldn't understand me and told me she was going to call somebody else, to which I replied: - Forget it,I don't want it anymore;and she said:Good. Incredible how the pharmacy staff had no problem with my accent and my mask on,but she did?!. Yes,she is the Queen. The Queen of disrespect and no manners. She sure knows how to make a customer feel UNWELCOME!!! A person of her age should knows better ! I won't change de 4 stars because of the pharmacy staff. PS. I don't think I will be back.
Staff are generally all lovely but need to be honest about wait times. Obviously they get busy but when you are told 10-15 mins and end up waiting over 40 mins its ridiculous.
