I just wanted to say that life pharmacy Barrington is really helpful and was so easy to deal with. A bit of a back story, I have been waiting for a particular medication for the past 3 months and rung 6+ pharmacies to no avail. Everywhere was out of stock and was also out of stock nationwide. I tried here and they did everything they could to source this medicine and I was lucky to be that person to nab it, was told that it will take 2 days but received a text message first thing in the morning to say that my prescription has arrived from Auckland. I couldn’t believe it! Super happy with the service!
Teri gave wonderful service helping me find the right soles for my motorcycle boots. She was very patient and let me try the soles in my boots to make sure they were a good fit for the purpose needed. You were such a lovely lady thank you for all your help
Had a browse on Nov 1st 2022 around midday for cologne and hand cream in total for about 6-10 minutes. As a 30yr old Male I wanted to sample cologne and query about Sculleys hand cream and their beautiful dispensers. I would look around for help but felt completely ignored. Staff seemed more content prioritising new customers than acknowledging me already in the store. I tried approaching one staff member but they went to a desk near the front to help someone who had entered after me and waited at the desk. I came away from it feeling like I didn't belong there. Maybe some advice: If a customer who doesn't fit the mold for your 'usual customer' enters, maybe try a bit harder to engage or at least ask if I was OK or need help. EDIT: Thanks so much for such a fast response below. I can understand the staffing issues and it was a busy day. Regardless I look forward to shopping here in the future.
I was able to redeem my voucher and pay only a small amount for three great gifts for work colleagues. They greeted, gave great customer service and farewelled me.
Always have friendly, helpful staff, attractive store and have the items I am looking for. They offer helpful advice.

Twice in the past few weeks I have been in to this store and had the good fortune to be helped by Marcia. I'm sure all the ladies at Life Pharmacy Barrington are just as wonderful but Marcia struck me on a day when I was tired and very indecisive!!! I felt I must write and acknowledge her calm, patience and helpfulness. Marcia, thank you so very much.
Love everything. Been going there for over 10yrs off and on...I would go more but now live in Rangiora. Staff know you by name.
Had a great experience today with the lady who served me, she took her time to help me find the right soles for my work shoes. She didn't rush me in any way, and was just lovely and pleasant to have a conversation with. Along with this, this pharmacy has a great selection of gift wares and beauty products. A lovely pharmacy to visit.
Went above and beyond to offer me help. Nurse noticed some missing information in the NHI while I was getting my flu shot. Offered to follow-up and fix the issue on my behalf. Really unexpected service, thanks!
