Whilst travelling for work, I was looking for a for a quick bite and a good craft beer. Leroy’s was underneath my hotel and such a cool place! Dive bar vibe with Americana furnishings, there are some tasty beers on tap to keep hopheads happy. Tasty tacos too. Everyone seemed really happy and relaxed. Great place to visit.

Leroy’s is my go to place for an after work chill, pool table, dj, friendly staff, awesome chefs that will cater to any dietary requirements. They have made me feel super comfortable every time I’ve come here and have made the extra effort that goes above and beyond for a venue. As a regular here I can say that they keep their patrons safe. I’ve had experiences where other people around me where being unruly and rude and the staff have been quick to action and remove these people making it a safe environment, speaking as a lady I can say that this place is a comfortable safe environment. And the staff in particular make this place shine. Vegetarian options: Delicious tacos and burgers available ect. Dietary restrictions: Staff listen and make sure everything is safe to eat for someone who has restrictions
Love this bar! Food and vibes are always banging but the best part is the staff! So personable, funny and down to have a chat! Always looking out for people before they know that they need looking after so you always feel safe and comfortable Food: 5/5
The Nashville Chicken is amazing. Perfect amount of flavor and spices. Crunchy, juicy and tender all in the right proportions.
Great atmosphere!! And the staff are next to none. I came in with my group of 10. We were served by Talia, who recommended a few cocktails and bar snacks. I've been a few times and will always wait to be served by T, I now call her. Friendly, outgoing and always serves with a smile. Bonus is that she remembered my name. Spot you next time Talia
I came to Leroy’s for the first time 2 years ago and I have come back at least once a week every week since. The food is by far some of the best I’ve eaten and the beer on tap changes frequently enough for me to try a bit of everything! Eli was my server today…knowledgeable, compassionate and a smile? I don’t think it could get any better. Thank you Leroy’s
3 of my friends held a joint birthday here and the venue couldn’t have been more disappointing. After setting a huge bar tab to meet, we thought it wouldn’t be a problem for a group of forty 28-35 year olds. However, the bar staff were rude, they cut people off at 8pm, they only allowed one drink per person, and shouted at the group for being ‘loud’ at 9pm on a Saturday night. We were then forced to pay the difference in the bar tab that we would never have been able to meet in the first place. One staff member literally told someone to ‘f*** off’ at the end of the night when they said good night to them. DO NOT BOOK AN EVENT HERE
Obviously the number one restaurant i have ever been to in Wellington! Lovely food, great surroundings and the staff are amazing! My server was Talia and she was so helpful and thoughtful. Keep up the great work young lady!
A great bar for after work drinks etc. However if you are considering hosting an event here I would highly recommend going elsewhere as, considering we were paying for the space, I've never felt so unwelcome in my life. Our party of 28-35 year old adults were treated like teenagers by the two bar tenders who watched likes hawks and put unneccessary drink limits in place. Making it impossible to meet the expected bar tab. We hosted an event here previously and had a fantastic evening which is what made us use the venue again however really disappointed this time round. Leroys seems to have lost some awesome staff and with that, the fun kiwi spirit!
