Great place to camp, lovely well-maintained campground and facilities spotless. Kitchen had everything you would need and available to use. Great price and very easy to check-in as we had our site number prior to arrival and just had to park up. Would absolutely recommend and will stay again next time we're going to the Sawmill Cafe for a gig as only a short walk away
Awesome place. Very tidy, everything you need & more supplied. Stayed in a boat shed cabin. Had all linen & towels supplied. Kitchen had all plates, cutlery, pots, cleaning liquid etc supplied. So good to not have to take any of that stuff with us. Will definitely be back.
We hosted our wedding at Leigh Central with over 100 of our nearest and dearest—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The venue and setting were absolutely beautiful, and the relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere made it the ideal place to celebrate with friends and loved ones.nnThe staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly—they were incredibly helpful and accommodating every step of the way. We honestly can’t thank them enough for helping make our big day so special. Highly recommend!

Been meaning to write this review for a while. We spent quite a few nights at Leigh Central’s motorhome park last year and honestly… what a find! Super easy access, level sites, and the vibe? Relaxed and welcoming, like the perfect Kiwi road trip stop should be.nYou’re literally minutes from the water – we strolled down to the wharf for a fish, super quaint spot. Facilities are immaculate – spotless showers, great kitchen space. It felt more like a boutique stay than a typical motorhome stop.nBest part? The town. Leigh has this charming, old-school coastal energy, and everything’s walking distance: pub, dairy, general store, even a secret beach if you ask the locals. Plus Goat Island Marine Reserve is just down the road, what a spot. And lastly the Manager, Rachel! What an asset to this place. She’s super friendly, super knowledgeable, super helpful & super cool! Trust us you will love this place!
