It’s an open reserve that has sea views. A walking path runs through the park area. There is seating and tables scattered around the park area. A lot of locals walk their dogs here but!! you must pick up their #2 droppings. There are plastic bags available? by the 2nd View Ave entrance I believe and a bin for dog droppings. Park on 2nd View Ave and take a leisurely walk along the beach front path to Maraetai Beach and eateries. It’s roughly 5kms each way, give or take with toilets and 2 kids parks along the way.
Went there for an Aramex Walk and Wag day on Saturday the 12th of April. This is held as part of the Aramex Kiwi Walk & Run Series. It was so much fun seeing over 200 dogs and their people having fun. Some ran the course while others walked it. There were bowls of water out for the dogs when they came back. People and dogs received a medal, but the dogs was in the shape of a bone. Very cute. There was food and drinks available for all at the end. A great day.

It's such a beautiful park to walk your pups. There is a loop from Leigh Auton all the way to Omana Regional!
