Delicious fish and chips! Always our go to when we are back in Cambridge. A great family business! It can get very busy on Friday nights but worth the wait! Great service and Helen always remembers you and your usual order.
We depended on the rating on Google and this place did not disappoint. There wasn't other fish left except snapper so we picked 3 pieces and wasn't disappointed. The fish was firm and tender and the batter was light but crispy. Bought 2 sides of aioli garlic and it went well. The garlic taste was medium in case you like to know. The lady that service as well as cook was friendly and courteous. Allowing one to choose whichever fish pieces one likes. The price is by weight and paying $28 for 3 pieces of half fish fillet is so worth it. We don't quite like chips but the drive there and wait is value for money. Recommended.
Yummy food - sausage rolls, lemon tarts, chocolate eclairs, apricot turnovers. Good .nGreat prices! Really reasonable. Constant trickle of locals coming in and out - always a good sign.
