My name is Sandy, my partner Tim and I repair old leadlight windows and design and make new windows, lampshades, suncatchers whatever your needs.



"At Light Leaded Designs I specialize in the design & manufacture of traditional stained glass & leaded lights. My work covers everything from the traditional Victorian, Edwardian & Art Deco style through to Modern & Contemporary design. From straight forward leaded door panels & though to creating bespoke stand alone pieces of art. I undertake the refurbishing of older stained glass windows. Offering a full repair & re-leading of windows that are structurally weak or have been extensively damaged. I also resize existing leaded windows in readiness for encapsulation inside a double glazed unit."

I am so happy with the wonderful stained glass windows that Jan made for my door. Everyone who sees them comments on how beautiful they are and the glass company that installed them was very impressed with his handiwork. Jan was a pleasure to deal with, very professional and finished them earlier than he has planned to because he knew we needed them urgently. Would highly recommend him
I decided to refurbish our old Victorian front door, and after searching the net found Light Leaded Designs. I emailed them & Jan got back to me immediately with costs based on my description of what we needed, which was less than the costs we'd had from other stained glass makers in London. Once we'd decided to go with Jan, and I'd sent him templates, he emailed us 2 design options, one of which we were happy with. His communication was great throughout the process, & he produced the panels in the timescale that he said. When they arrived we were over the moon with them, they look fantastic & fitted perfectly. I'd highly recommend Jan to anyone needing stained glass widows or panels, excellent product & service. Thanks Jan!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Jan! I ordered bespoke glass inserts for my 1930s door and despite all the covid mess, the job was done quickly and perfectly! I could not be happier with my front door now!
I came across Light leaded designs when looking for bespoke stained glass, I found the website super easy to use and the added bonus of seeing what the finished outcome would look like, I contacted Jan and found his advice to be great, he doesn’t do the hard sell and was able to give me an exact cost before ordering. Ordered the bee design for the vestibule door and matching panels for the bedroom doors, extremely happy with the results, Jan was very helpful, adjusted the design to suit my small panels and sent me a few alternatives to choose between. Very good service, Jan is passionate for his work, the results are great and at a reasonable price.
