This place is a hidden gem, because it's actually hidden in an old building in a high end mall. I would prefer if it was set on a nice terrace like on a busy "Parisian" street however, do not fret, you can still get a taste of France there, I promise. We received a very enjoyable service with multilingual staff! Oui, you can definitely be served in Français there. The food is delicious! We had the Roquefort and Leek Tarte... Amazing! That thing packs a lot of flavor. The Canard Confit was a delight, served with duck fat potatoes, a small salad and some baguette. The coffee was on point and arrived promptly. Crème Brulée and Almond Croissants as desserts were so well worth it! I will surely be back there soon. Merci et à bientôt! * I will post more photos next time
Had the most amazinhg lunch here yesterday wth my Mumma and Son. Went totally French had French onion soup that was to die for and Escargot as had never had before done in an herb garlic butter yummy. Mumma and son had quche Lorraine of which they loved. Staff snd Chef Veronique couldn't have been more welcoming. Thanks eveyone.
Great coffee, attentive staff and one artistic barista producing cute rabbit art : One of the best croque madam’s I have ever had.
almond croissant and hot chocolate were tasty but didn’t like tarte provencale shown in the photo. Quiches and croques were looking good in my colleagues’ plates
Great coffee and the almond croissant is absolutely divine. Love the ambiance and the market next to it has an array of French goodies. Will definitely be a favourite
Delicious homemade French food such as tarte tatin, quiche, brulée and other classic French delights. Coffee was good and service excellent. They brought our quiches out and waited until we'd finished before bringing our sweet tarts, rather than loading up our table all at once. The ambience was nice too. Cost for two, including one coffee and a bottle of mineral water, was $58.50. Next to the café is Le Marché deli with a wide range of gorgeous cheeses, chocolate, jams, condiments and all sorts of things. We couldn't help but stock up! Note there's a range of olive oil from Crete that's currently half price as it's past its "best before" date.
Incredible food only matched by its brilliant, authentic service. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The chef is outstanding and the price is a steal.
Mmmm, I can just remember the smell of fresh bread and the sound of French music playing in the background. This quaint Café was absolutely beautiful. The food was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. This is such a great little space to hangout in.
Strong coffee, beautiful homemade apricot jam with the baguette. The omelet was also really tasty. Looking forward to our next visit.
The food is nice. It is in a funny spot, upstairs in what is essentially a lobby surrounded by offices. But if you are looking for an authentic French culinary experience in Wellington, you should try it.
