Very impressive memorial and museum. Plan to spend a fair amount of time in there. A perfect way to learn about Australian history and culture. There's a very well known interactive kinds museum, however at the time it was closed due to Covid.
This place blew my expectations out of the water!! All the displays were top notch. I can't imagine how much effort went into the museum. And it is all FREE!!! Someone was talking about the Australian War Memorial, when they said the best things in life were free.
Booked in to see ANZAC hall, amazing. Then spent 2 hours in the lower galleries, again brilliant and thought provoking displays. Finish day with Last Post. Wonderful way to spend a after noon
